On 15 December 2025, for the second day, Fano (AFNF) claimed to have clashed with ENDF in Mesheha Kebele in Metema Wereda (location coded to the admin center Metema, West Gondar, Amhara), killing 250 soldiers (fatalities uncorroborated). Fano also confirmed that its forces were killed during the clash without specifying the exact figure. Fano further claimed to have wounded 53, captured 80 soldiers, and seized various types of weapons and ammunition, including 2 Bren machine guns. Uncorroborated number of fatalities coded as 10, split across the two dates and coded as 5 for this event.
