On 14 December 2025, between Za Yat Kwin and Leik Kya villages (coded as Za Yat Kwin) (Thabeikkyin township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military reported that the People's Defense Force (PDF) blew up a concrete bridge on the Mandalay-Madaya-Thabeikkyin road linking Za Yat Kwin and Leik Kya villages using mines. The bridge's supporting pillars collapsed, making it impassable to pedestrians and vehicles. Casualties unknown.
