On 14 December 2025, unidentified militants (coded as TTP) attacked the Sheikh Landak police post in Shaikh Landak area of Bannu district (Bannu, KPK). Police personnel opened retaliatory fire, resulting in an exchange of fire. Militants used quadcopters to drop two explosive devices near the police post and carried out sniper fire from another direction. Both devices exploded near the building. There were no casualties.
