On 14 December 2025, suspected TTP militants attempting to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border opened fire on the Inzar border post in the Shabak area of Kurram district (coded as Parachinar, Kurram, KPK), targeting Thall Scouts paramilitary personnel (coded as Frontier Corps). Three Thall Scouts personnel were killed and three others were injured in the cross-border attack. 3 fatalities and 3 injured.
