On 14 December 2025, an unidentified armed group (likely the Berom militia, given their previous attack pattern on pastoralists) sporadically opened fire on Fulani pastoralists, killing 13 cows and injuring 12 others along Gero Road, location coded to the nearest village, Gero (Jos South, Plateau). There were no casualties.
