Thayet District Battalion No. 4 spokesperson Ko Myat told Yangon Khit Thit news agency that seven junta soldiers died when resistance forces ambushed a military column in Kamma Township, Magway Region.

Around 3 p.m. on January 15, over 100 junta troops in three vehicles departed Yenarsar police station, left vehicles in Ponyaung Village, and advanced on foot. Thayet Battalion 4 intercepted them near Min Village.
