A woman in her 30s was killed and five civilians injured when junta forces bombed a school sheltering war-displaced persons in Nyaung Kan Village, eastern Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, according to Wetlet Informational Network spokesperson Ko Mone Taing.

Starting around 11:13 a.m. today, a fighter jet from Tada-U Air Base dropped four 200-pound bombs on the school and strafed with machine guns. Two school buildings and one house were incinerated, with one cow also killed.
