BRA (Bamar Revolution Army) leader Ye Baw La Kyar told Yangon Khit Thit news agency that three junta soldiers were killed when resistance forces ambushed a 70-strong military column advancing toward villages in Nat Talin Township, Bago Region.

Around 9 a.m. on January 14, revolutionary groups intercepted the column at Ngote Toe Village outskirts as it moved from that area. The 30-minute clash resulted in three junta soldier deaths.

During the fighting, junta forces deliberately droned civilian areas in retaliation, injuring 48-year-old Ko Zaw Myint Htut from Thayettaw Kan Ywa Village who was preparing to flee conflict.
