A representative from the Bago District People's Defense Organization - Bago PDF told Yangon Khit Thit news agency that three junta soldiers were killed when resistance forces launched a rocket attack on the Thuray Thumaing police station and Tarwa outpost equipped with heavy weapons in Wwa Township, Bago Region.

The attack occurred in the afternoon of January 11, when revolutionary forces fired five rockets at the targets. The rockets struck junta troop positions, killing three soldiers and wounding others.
