An 8-year-old child was killed and three civilians injured when junta forces carried out an airstrike on Pin Sane Khine Village in Ye-U Township, Sagaing Region, according to Htoo Khant Zaw (A May Thar), communications officer for Ye-U Township's Western Zone.

Around 2 p.m. on January 13, a Yak-130 fighter jet from Tada-U Air Base bombed the village despite no active fighting in the area. The bomb struck a civilian home directly, killing the child and injuring three others.
