Drone attack hits junta troops stationed at a school in Bhura Pyo Village, Zeegone; artillery and drone strikes also launched on military bases in Gangaw, including a 50th Battalion post
According to Ye Baw Sit Sa, a military affairs officer of Thayarwaddy District, resistance forces carried out a drone bombing attack on junta troops stationed inside Bhura Pyo Village school in Zeegone town, Bago Region.
The attack took place at around 7:50 p.m. on January 10, when resistance fighters used drones to drop bombs on the junta forces occupying the school compound. Casualties were reported on the junta side, though the exact number of deaths and injuries could not yet be confirmed. The resistance fighters were able to withdraw safely without any casualties.
