In Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, four civilians were killed when junta aircraft bombed areas where internally displaced people were sheltering, according to local residents and members of the People’s Defense Forces in Shwebo Township.

On January 7, military aircraft dropped bombs on makeshift shelters for displaced civilians near Ywa Soe village in Shwebo Township. The airstrike killed four displaced civilians, one woman and three men.
