At around 10:50 a.m. on January 7, the military carried out airstrikes using Y-12 aircraft, dropping over 80 bombs on villages west of Tilin, where internally displaced civilians had been taking shelter. A 60-year-old man was killed, a woman was injured, and a three-year-old girl from Htalin village also sustained injuries.
