The Ramonnya Mon Army (RMA) stated on Monday that it killed at least four regime troops during an attack on five regime outposts in Mudon and Ye townships of Mon State during the second round of voting in the regime’s 2025-26 elections on Jan. 11.

At around 4 a.m. on January 11, RMA fighters launched an attack on a junta checkpoint near Asin Village in Ye Township, killing three soldiers and seriously injuring one.

Later that morning, around 8 a.m., resistance forces also fired three 107mm short-range rockets at the junta’s regional operations command (Sak Ka Kha-19) headquarters in Ye town, and two additional 107mm rockets at the 316th Artillery Battalion base near Kalot Village. The rockets exploded near the military compounds, and reports of casualties are still under investigation.
