On January 15, Security Forces (SFs) recovered and defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in village of Kakora, under Police Station Manjakote in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. A concealed bag was recovered during the operation. Upon inspection, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) found an IED weighing approximately 3.5 kilograms. The device was safely detonated later in a controlled operation. No casualties or property damage occurred.
