The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres targeted an installation along the CPEC route in the Dasht Konari area of Kech District in Balochistan on January 11, destroying it by using explosives, and cameras mounted on the tower were rendered inoperative, reports Zrumbesh. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for IED attack. BLA statement added that attempts by military units to advance during the incident were repelled and that, despite gunfire and mortar shelling, the cadres managed to withdraw safely.
