Police recovered a significant cache of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) arms and ammunition near the Mandoda New Security and Public Facility Camp under Kohkameta Police limits in Narayanpur District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on January 10, reports Daijiworld. The haul was recovered on January 10 following credible information provided by vigilant local villagers. A joint team of District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans (troopers) conducted the operation under senior supervision. Among the seized items were 94 large arrow bombs, 70 small arrow bombs, three improvised firearms, and 15 iron pipes, pointing to preparations for possible attacks. In addition, medical supplies such as syringes, bandages, painkillers, injections, and other medicines were found, suggesting the presence of a functional field medical setup to support combat operations.
