On January 10, Security Forces (SFs) arrested two cadres of Kangleipak Community Party-Noyon (KCP-N), identified as Khaidem Ranjit (65) in Sagolband Moirang Hanuba and Sanasam Biramangol (63) of Phumlou, presently residing at Tera Loukrakpam, in Phumlou in Imphal West District of Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. According to Police, these arrests were made following a triple firing incident at Langjing Achouba, Ghari, and Sangaiprou in the District on January 9, 2026. Additionally, recovered an M-20 pistol with a live round used in the firing, along with three two-wheelers and a mobile phone.
