Six Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed when the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres ambushed an Army convoy on the main highway at Ornach Cross in Khuzdar District of Balochistan at around 1:00 pm on January 9, reports Zrumbesh. The statement, issued by BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch, claimed responsibility of the attack. According to a statement attributed to the BLF, the group said its cadres ambushed the army convoy. The statement said that one vehicle of the military convoy came under intense attack and, as a result, six personnel in the vehicle were killed on the spot and the vehicle sustained severe damage.
