Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child and assaulted others during a military incursion into the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

Sources added that soldiers fired live ammunition, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at citizens, shooting a 16-year-old child in the pelvis with live rounds, and assaulted young men and children.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces invaded the cities of Bethlehem and Beit Jala, positioning soldiers in a number areas, on Friday night. Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the city of Bethlehem, and positioned infantry units in the Manger Square, Al-Saff Street, Wadi Ma’ali, and Jabal al-Nawawra in the city; no protests were reported.
