According to exclusive sources speaking to the Houran Free League: The SDF blew up the Tal Maaez Bridge north of Deir Hafer and the Ibrahim al-Khalil Bridge south of the town, after previously destroying the Um Tina village bridge. The blasts have cut all bridge connections between Deir Hafer and areas under Syrian Army control, reportedly to prevent civilians from leaving and to use them as human shields.
