Israeli forces killed a Palestinian on Thursday, near the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, while occupation forces detained a number of young men after storming Al-Yamoun town northwest of the city. In the Jenin refugee camp, the army continued its military campaign in the Jenin camp, including the demolition of homes.

The Ministry of Health was announces the death of the young man, Khaled Munir Abdul Qader Houbi, 40, after he was shot by Israeli forces near Jenin, adding that the army confiscated the body.

The Israeli army announced that their soldiers “neutralized” a Palestinian after he allegedly carried out a shooting attack near the evacuated “Hermesh” settlement, build on Palestinian-owned lands near Ya’bad town.

The army added that no injuries were reported among its soldiers as a result of the purported shooting operation.

The slain Houbi was a citizen of the town of Zeita, north of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

In related news, the army invaded the town of Al-Yamoun, northwest of Jenin, detained and assaulted citizens and abducted a young man. Media sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed Al-Yamoun town, stormed a commercial shop, and detained those inside, before abducting the young man, Ahmed Al-Thaminat.
Sources added that occupation forces detained and assaulted a group of children, deployed an infantry unit in the streets and fired tear gas canisters at citizens.
