CBRN event in Palestine on Fri 20th June 2025

On Thursday, Israeli forces shot two Palestinians in the town of Aqraba town, south of Nablus, and for the second consecutive day, the army continued its large-scale incursion into the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Paramedic, Yousef Deiryeh, told the WAFA News Agency that the Aqraba Municipality ambulance service transported two citizens who sustained gunshot wounds to the hospital, after Israeli soldiers targeted their vehicle. 

Deiryeh added that Palestinians confronted the invading army who opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters at citizens, causing a number of them to sustain the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

Meanwhile, the army continued its large-scale incursion into the Balata refugee camp for the second consecutive day, besieging the camp, storming citizens’ homes, assaulting and interrogating citizens.

According to Amid Ahmad, the director of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) emergency and ambulance center in Nablus, reported that five citizens, including a young woman, suffered various injuries after Israeli forces assaulted them.
