A local resident was killed when a military convoy leaving the Myanmar Yangsi Copper Project, a Chinese investment, in Salingyi Township, Sagaing Region, raided and fired on a nearby village yesterday (January 11).

After the Myanmar Yangsi Copper Project was attacked by revolutionary forces yesterday morning, around 3 p.m., the military, which had taken up residence in the factory, raided the village of Wada with a force of about 50 people.
