On 13 December 2025, near La Pintada municipality (Antioquia), unidentified perpetrators detonated an explosive device on a road connecting Medellin (Antioquia) with Manizales (Caldas) at km 79 + 650 in the Guavita Bridge sector. The explosion damaged the road infrastructure, but no one was injured. Although the authors are unknown, there is a presence of the Gulf Clan's Edwin Roman Velasquez substructure in the area. There were no casualties.
