On 13 December 2025, in Kamma town (Kamma township, Thayet district, Magway region), a column of around 150 Myanmar military soldiers stationed at the Kamma police station fired heavy weapons in the morning and killed a 60-year-old man in the Ywar Thit ward. Some civilians including a 55-year-old woman were also injured. The military troops also arrested civilians and set fire and destroyed houses in the east of the market and Chaung U To ward. 1 fatality.
