On 13 December 2025, three Taliban forces were killed and another wounded when the Afghanistan Freedom Front attacked their reserve unit (likely conducted using remote explosives based on the video) in Faiz Abad city, Badakhshan. AFF claimed that the Taliban repeatedly used this unit to suppress citizen protests, spread fear, and consolidate their imposed rule. 3 fatalities.
