On 13 December 2025, in Jiquirica (Bahia), around seven unidentified armed suspects in vehicles shot five people in a drive-by shooting in the city center. Three people were shot and killed and two others were injured. The suspects escaped. The authorship and motivations are unknown. 3 fatalities.
