A major operation was launched in Mexicali: after a chase, the Army intercepted a Jeep in the parking lot of a Casa Ley wholesale store, heading towards the Tijuana highway. There, they arrested two people: a man from China and another from Chiapas. Inside the vehicle, they seized four rifles, three bulletproof vests, eighteen magazines, radios, cell phones, helmets, and bags of marijuana. All the items were turned over to the Attorney General's Office (FGR) for investigation into the origin and destination of the equipment.
