Around 5 p.m. yesterday, on December 31, before New Year’s Day, the junta forces fired about three artillery shells from their base in Hpakant. The shells landed near Saing Taung Ward 1, injuring two civilians. They kept firing throughout the night, from about 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. this morning.
