The Syrian Ministry of Defense said the Syrian army has seized a number of heavy and medium weapons in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, previously used by SDF forces to shell residential areas. The ministry added that clearing operations are ongoing, as reports indicate army units are advancing further into the neighborhood.
