A 21-year-old woman reported that she went outside the yard of their house with her two-year-old child and, while watching fireworks, she heard a sound, after which she noticed bleeding from the child’s head. The child was admitted to a hospital with a head injury caused by a gunshot and later died. Police are investigating the case.
