A 54-year-old man died after being struck by a gunshot following a hunting activity, after a hunting rifle discharged while being placed into a vehicle by another hunter, a 53-year-old man, identified as the suspected perpetrator. Following the incident, officers, acting on the order of the Chief Public Prosecutor, arrested the suspect on suspicion of committing a serious offence against public safety. The suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours.
