SAA event in Nikšic Municipality, Niksic area, Montenegro on Tue 23rd December 2025

Following a report by a woman who stated that she had been stalked and threatened by a man over a prolonged period and that the suspect possessed weapons, causing her to feel threatened, police arrested the man. A court-authorised search of his residence led to the seizure of a “Crvena Zastava” M57 pistol (7.62 mm), a “Zastava Arms” M70 rifle, another “Zastava Arms” rifle, and 76 rounds of ammunition of various calibres, all held without valid documentation. By decision of the prosecutor, the case was processed as a misdemeanour under public order legislation, and the weapons and ammunition were permanently confiscated.
