SAA event in Vlorë County, Vlorë area, Albania on Sat 3rd January 2026

Two men, aged 19 and 25, were arrested following a physical altercation outside a café, during which a firearm was discharged into the air. According to police, during the conflict involving multiple individuals, the 25-year-old suspect took a pistol from his companion and fired one shot into the air. Police patrols prevented escalation of the incident. The firearm (pistol) was located and seized, and both suspects were arrested at the scene. No injuries were reported. The case was referred to the prosecution for offenses related to illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition and disturbance of public order.
