On January 8, Police arrested a person, identified as Ajul Arora and recovered 4.863 kilograms of heroin, two 9 mm pistols, 10 cartridges, and a vehicle during a naka checking operation in Lopoke area of Amritsar District of Punjab, reports The Tribune. The accused was intercepted while driving a white Honda City car at high speed. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the contraband and arms, as well as the accused’s links.
