Unknown armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, attacked Security Forces (SFs) in Kech District of Balochistan at around 11:30 on January 7, reports Zrumbesh. The assailants targeted the SFs when they were traveling from Balicha toward Hairabad. The sounds of the attack were heard multiple times in the area during the incident. There are reports of losses suffered by SFs in the attack; however, the exact number of casualties could not be independently confirmed. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
