On January 7, Security forces (SFs) recovered and defused a suspected improvised explosive device (IED) during a joint search operation in the forest area of Kallar in Dori Maal, Thanamandi in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Greater Kashmir. SFs recovered suspected material identified as four kilograms of IED, which was later destroyed through a controlled explosion. Empty shells were also recovered.
