On January 7, Taliban executed a former Commander loyal to Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, identified as Yousuf Qomandan, by shooting him in the head in Khwaja Du Koh District of Jawzjan Province, reports Hahst-e Subh. Taliban forces reportedly dragged Qomandan out of a wedding ceremony attended by his relatives before killing him.He had been released from Taliban custody 10 days earlier and had recently been deported from Iran back to Afghanistan.
