Other MoA event in Balochistan, Lodi Jangjah, Kech District area, Pakistan on Tue 6th January 2026

Unidentified armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, setting up a blockade on the M-8 CPEC highway between Turbat and Dasht, in the Lodi Jangjah area of Kech District in Balochistan, along with an attack on a nearby Police checkpoint on January 6, reports Zrumbesh.  From approximately 9:00pm to 10:30pm in the night, unidentified armed men temporarily closed the highway and stopped passing vehicles for checking. During the same period, a nearby Police check post was targeted, where policemen were reportedly detained and their official weapons seized before the attackers fled the scene. No fatalities have been confirmed so far, and no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
