One person was killed while eight others were injured when a vehicle carrying cement workers was targeted by an improvised explosive device (IED) on Begokhel road near Nawar Khel area in Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on January 5 (today), reports Dawn. The District Police spokesperson, Qudratullah, said that the vehicle was carrying cement factory workers when it was targeted by terrorists near Nawar Khel area
