Seven Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed while six other personnel sustained injuries when the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres ambushed a military convoy in the Koto-Kotori area of Jhao tehsil (revenue unit) in Awaran District of Balochistan on January 3, reports Zrumbesh. In a statement issued by BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch said two vehicles in the convoy were damaged. The statement further said that following the attack, SFs conducted raids on nearby houses. The BLF said its cadres withdrew safely after the operation.
