Two Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres were killed in an encounter when a team of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) was conducting an operation in Bijapur District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on January 3 (today), reports NDTV. In the encounter that is underway, the Security Forces (SFs) killed two Maoists and recovered one Self Loading Rifle (SLR) and a 12-bore rifle. Further details are awaited at the time of reporting.
