One Security Forces (SFs) personnel was killed while another personnel sustained injuries when the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres targeted a military vehicle assigned to protect company workers engaged in highway-related work in the Wahir area of Wadh tehsil (revenue unit) in Khuzdar District of Balochistan on January 1, reports Zrumbesh. According to a statement issued by the BLF, its cadres carried out the first attack at around 5:00 PM in the Wahir area. The group said its fighters, positioned in the surrounding mountains, targeted a military vehicle assigned to protect company workers engaged in highway-related work. The second incident reportedly occurred later the same night at approximately 9:30 PM near Bismillah Hotel in Wadh, where BLF cadres targeted and damaged a vehicle transporting precious stones and minerals from Balochistan.
