A three-year-old child and his parents were killed and seven locals were injured in an airstrike by the Military Commission in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, according to the Kanbalu Township People's Administration.
On January 2, at 10:25 p.m., a jet plane from a bridge dropped bombs on Mae Ha village in Htangone Township, Kandal Township, killing Maung Paing Zay (age three), his parents Ko Min Min Htay (age 40) and Ma Phyu Thi (age 40).
In addition, at least seven locals were injured, eight houses were destroyed, and seven cattle and two buffaloes were killed.
