As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," two oil storage tanks caught fire after a drone attack on the port of Temryuk, spreading the fire to 2,000 square meters.
The fire in the port of Temryuk, following a drone attack on the night of December 25, has grown to 4,000 square meters, the task force of the Krasnodar Territory reported today."Two oil storage tanks are on fire. A fire train arrived this morning to assist with the firefighting effort. A total of 99 people and 26 pieces of equipment are involved, including personnel from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory," the emergency response headquarters said on Telegram.
The release emphasizes that no oil products were allowed to enter the waters of Temryuk Bay.
As a reminder, on December 22, fires broke out at the port of Taman on a pier and a tanker following a drone attack.
