German military officials reported an incident involving three unidentified drones that attempted to determine the location of Arrow-3 air defense missile systems.

According to the Bundeswehr, the drones were spotted at an altitude of about 100 meters over a military facility. A rapid reaction unit launched its combat drone and managed to identify one of the three UAVs, but none of them was intercepted.

The incident occurred on December 1, 2025, over Annaburg Air Base in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, but it has only become known now, DW reports.
