Culiacán, Sinaloa.— A large security operation was deployed in the Tierra Blanca neighborhood of Culiacán after a house was attacked with gunfire, allegedly with explosives, and subsequently set on fire, causing alarm among residents of the area. The attack occurred on Agricultores Street, between Francisco Márquez and Eustaquio Buelna Avenue. The fire had not been completely extinguished at the time of the authorities' arrival. Neighbors reported multiple explosions, causing panic and numerous calls to emergency numbers. Elements of the Mexican Army, National Guard, and police forces began arriving at the scene, initiating patrols and cordoning off the area. So far, no injuries have been reported, only material damage to the affected residence, according to preliminary information. Authorities continue to reinforce their presence in the area and the closure of nearby roads is expected while the corresponding procedures are carried out and the damage caused by the attack is assessed.
