SAA event in Mexico on Tue 6th January 2026

A shooting attack recorded around midday this Tuesday in the Guadalupe neighborhood, in Culiacán, left two people dead, after armed suspects attacked a group of people who were eating at the taquería El Champion, located on Río Morocito Street.

According to initial reports, the attack occurred while the victims were inside the establishment. Armed men arrived at the scene and opened fire directly, causing panic among customers and nearby residents. After the attack, the perpetrators fled the scene, and so far there is no official information about any arrests.

Victims were left in the bathroom area

Authorities confirmed that the bodies of the two deceased individuals remained inside the business, specifically in the bathroom area, where they had allegedly tried to take cover during the attack.
