The army continues to combat arms trafficking gangs and pursue perpetrators of crimes and those undermining security. In this context, the Intelligence Directorate, on 30/12/2025, carried out raids on the homes of wanted individuals in the Mount Lebanon region, arresting 15 citizens and seizing a quantity of weapons and military ammunition. The seized items were handed over, and investigations have commenced with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
